He pursued an adventurous life travelling for many years in the Yemen,
Africa and Asia. These experiences were to prove invaluable as a
painter. Peter's work is always an adventure, a never ending journey, an
exploration, a discovery, a physical and intellectual experience.
He is passionately interested in the process of 'getting there',
continuously reworking, rubbing down, and scraping the surface, which he
describes as the 'soul of the painting'.
He has exhibited in London alongside eminent artists such as Peter Blake, Patrick Heron, Eduardo Paolozzi, Francis Bacon and Jude Isaac.
Peter Granville-Edmunds was awarded a First-Class (hons) Degree in Visual Art. He completed his Masters Degree in Fine Art in 2001 and has exhibited in these selected galleries:
