Peter is a well known and respected contemporary artist specialising in the colours he sees in music and the emotions music evokes.
He studied Fine Art at St Albans in Hertfordshire. England, where he was born and was awarded a 1st class (hons)degree in Visual Art in 1997 and completed his Master`s Degree in Fine Art in 2001. Peter pursued an adventurous life traveling for many years in the Yemen, Africa and Asia. These experiences proved to be invaluable as a painter.
Peter`s describes his work as "a continual adventure, a never ending journey, a physical and intellectual experience". He is passionately interested in the process of `getting there`, continuously reworking, rubbing down and scraping the surface, which he describes as `the Soul` of the painting.
"A sense of truth is critical; Peter`s criteria of a paintings is not how beautiful it is But how true the experience is felt".
